When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. For legacy users of our web app, we collect your email (including Google OAuth), hashed password, and any financial data you enter manually such as budgets, categories, goals, transaction amounts, and notes.
We may collect device info, IP address, usage logs, cookies/local storage data, and anonymous, privacy-focused analytics to improve our website and waitlist experience.
If you use our AI features, we process text you provide to the assistant. We do not use your personal financial data to train third-party AI models.
We use your information to manage your waitlist status, notify you about the iOS app launch, maintain accounts for legacy web users, store financial data securely, and ensure security. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Your data is stored via Supabase with HTTPS during transfer and encrypted storage for sensitive information. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and cannot be recovered in readable form.
When you use AI features, data you submit may be sent to trusted AI providers and is used only to generate the requested output. Data is not stored by these providers for training purposes, and we do not retain AI logs with sensitive information.
We use cookies to manage waitlist sign-ups, maintain sessions for legacy users, and analyze overall usage patterns.
We share data only with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, authentication), AI processing providers when requested, and legal authorities when strictly required. We do not share your information for advertising purposes.
We do not collect, process, or store payment information (such as credit card numbers) on our website. Future subscriptions for our native application will be handled securely and exclusively through the Apple App Store.
We keep your email on our waitlist until you opt out or the app launches. For legacy accounts, we keep your data while your account is active. Upon deletion, all personal and financial data is permanently removed.

Spendly is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
